Windows Vista - Unhiding Error Messages
- When you attempt to connect to US Netizen and your connection fails, Vista delivers the following message:

- If you click on Diagnose the Problem, Vista can't seem for find anything wrong.

That's obviously pretty worthless because there was a problem. Vista does generate error codes, but for some reason Microsoft has decided to hide them from you. Follow these instructions to unhide Vista Dial-up Networking error codes.
- Click on the Start button, then Connect to.

- Click on Open Network and Sharing Center.

- Click on Manage Network Connections.

- Double click your US Netizen dial-up connection or single click to highlight and choose Start This Connection.

- Enter your password if needed and click Dial.

- You will see the dialer progress.

- Once connected to our servers, it will attempt authorization.

- Finally, it will display an error.

- Now you can troubleshoot the error code or contact tech support.
